Title: Run-Time Error 6 (Overflow) when Printing Protected Title Insurance Policy Forms
Keywords: Print, Err=6, Printer Error
Scope: All sites
Release: 2.0 and higher
Description: When just about to print any Protected Title Insurance Policy form, the Title Insurance Policy "Print Driver" issues a terse message box with a 'Run-Time Error, Err=6'' message.  The problem, in all documented cases to date, has to do with insufficient temporary storage space within the affected computer's TEMP folder or directory.
Resolution: Quit Print, and exit Real°Pac and all applications. Then, run Windows Explorer.  Scroll up or down, as needed, to find either the C:\TEMP folder and/or the C:\WINDOWS\TEMP folder(s).  Chances are that one (or both) of these is full (over 10 files and/or sub-folders with files).  Single-click on the folder's name on the left pane in Explorer.  Next, single-click on any one file or folder on the right pane in Explorer, then hold down the CTRL key and press "A".  This will hilight (select) all of the files and folders underneath the TEMP folder in question.  Now, right-mouse click over any one of these selected files, and then, with the SHIFT key held down, click on the DELETE popup menu choice.  When asked whether or not you want to delete all X number of selected files, choose YES (or YES to ALL).  Repeat the confirmatory dialog process, if prompted again, until all the files have been deleted.  Verify that the TEMP folder in question is now empty.  Once you have cleaned up either one or both of these folders (depending on what you found on your computer), it is important that you restart your computer and then log back into Windows.  Your overflow error should no longer be taking place.
Notes: Some of the temporary "junk" files in your TEMP folder(s) may be active or "in use" at the time you try to delete them.  This is fine.  If you cannot delete all of the files due to such "access conflict", delete or remove what you can.  The other files should eventually either be removed by Windows, or you can remove them anyway (more than likely up to 24 hours later).

Please note also that after you install any software package on your computer, it is a good idea to check your TEMP folder(s) to make sure that "throwaway" remnants of your installation's image are not still sticking around.  This is the most common cause of such litter.  It is a good habit to check the condition of your TEMP folders on a regular basis.
