Real°Pac On-Line Support
Category:    Printing Issues

Title: Run-Time DLL Failure when opening up Word Processor just prior to printing
Keywords: WBDBV32I.DLL, DLL File could not be created, Printing
Scope: All sites
Release: 2.B and higher
Description: When just about to activate Word, Windows displays a small message box stating that the WBDBV32I.DLL file could not be accessed - suggesting that you probably do not have access rights to the folder shown in the caption bar - the location where WinBatch "thinks" this .DLL lives.  This error message is actually generated by the interaction of WinBatch and Word using Microsoft Windows' automation components (f/k/a OLE, now ActiveX) as the "provider" or "carrier".
Resolution: After acknowledging this (and a subsequent) messagebox, manually return to Real°Pac control.  Do this by single-clicking on the "Real°Pac print driver" minimized button located on your task bar.  When the Real°Pac Print dialog reappears, simply resubmit your print job.  The error should no longer appear.
Notes: This is a very spurious and rare error condition.  It should not happen more than once in a great while, if at all.  If it persists, check your network privileges and/or access rights to the share or drive letter/folder shown in the caption of the message box (this is usually your Real°Pac global-level SYSTEM folder, as in "J:\RP_W\SYSTEM").  Assuming that you do have normal access rights, and this is not the problem, then check the following:
  • The amount of free disk on your computer, and/or on the disk storing your computer's operating system.
  • Your computer's TEMP folder(s), in order to make sure that "throwaway" remnants of previous installations (of any source or type) are not still present.  It is a good habit to check the condition of your TEMP folders on a regular basis.
